Air Knights are trained to save lives
From aircraft C-130 Hercules from the Colombian Air Force, Special Forces Command of the United States and Dominican Republic, with the host country, jumping 15 and 20 thousand feet HALO putting into practice the techniques, for their acronym stands for High Altitude-Low Opening, and HAHO, High Altitude-High Opening, mean-high altitude and high altitude low opening-high opening, respectively, in developing Angel of the Andes 2015 ".
Similarly, another group of commands performed military parachuting static line jump from a C-295 aircraft a thousand feet high, in such missions are tested skills who daily risk their lives to save others, in rescue and recovery personnel.
Sharing experiences with friendly countries, various forces of the continent are trained in different tactics and techniques that will be applied in security operations to be carried out within nations.
This is part of the training missions of the International Exercise "Angel of the Andes 2015", so the delegations of 10 countries of America, with specialties such as fixed-wing pilots and rotary wing, medical personnel, rescue workers, maintenance and logistics among others continue in complete readiness to make way for the real missions that will take place next week at different venues like the Air Combat Command No.1, -CACOM1- in Puerto Salgar, Cundinamarca, and the Air Command Combat No.5, -CACOM-5, located in Rionegro, Antioquia.
Each training mission or actual running, contributes to the achievements of friendly forces, as a way to interoperate strengthens and expands the knowledge of those ready to save lives.
