Air Forces of Colombia and Chile International Cooperation Memorandum review
In order to strengthen bilateral relations between Colombia and Chile, it is developed from 02 to September 4, 2015 the fourth meeting of chiefs of staff of the air forces of the two countries, allowing to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the nations, through the exchange of knowledge and experience in security and defense.
These meetings become bilateral mechanisms to achieve exchange agreements, visits referencing issues of common interest to the two forces and, of course, in terms of cooperation and training.
During this meeting, they also have planned visits to the Corporation of the Colombian Aeronautical Industry, -CIAC-, Aerospace Center, -CEMAE- Medicine, and Air Combat Command No.2 located in Apiay, Meta, in order to raise awareness of some of the capabilities of the Colombian Air Force in science and technology.
In addition, memoranda of understanding and agreements in force on international defense cooperation, signed between the two countries in previous meetings were reviewed.
Meetings like this strengthen bilateral relations between Colombia and Chile generated a cultural exchange, expanding the doctrinaire and academic knowledge which in turn allow the evolution of each Force.
